Abstract

In May 2025 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Muara Enim Regency of 3.32 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.34.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages, and tobacco group by 4.84 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.88 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.39 percent; household supplies, equipment, and routine maintenance group by 0.13 percent; health group by 1.76 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 1.39 percent; education group by 0.59 percent; food and beverage supply/restaurant group by 0.47 percent; and personal care and other services group by 15.47 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Muara Enim Regency in May 2025 amounted to 0.98 percent and 1.16 percent, respectively.
