Abstract

In January 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Muara Enim Regency of 1 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.06.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage, and tobacco group by 2.68 percent; the health group by 2.56 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 3.50 percent; the education group by 0.59 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.99 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 10.93 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) and year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rates in Muara Enim Regency in January 2025 were each 0.02 percent.
