Abstract

In May 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Muara Enim Regency will be 3.18 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.79.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 3.33 percent; clothing and footwear group at 4.72 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 1.27 percent; health group by 1.71 percent; transportation group at 4.21 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 11.24 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 4.66 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 10.19 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate for Muara Enim Regency in May 2024 are 0.29 percent and 1.38 percent respectively.
