Abstract

In January 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Muara Enim Regency was 6.31 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.98.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 11.35 percent; clothing and footwear group at 7.75 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.36 percent; health group at 0.72 percent; transportation group at 4.34 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 8.98 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 8.14 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 4.18 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate for Muara Enim Regency in January 2024 are 0.28 percent each.
