Abstract
The
Farmer Trade Rate (FTR) of South Sumatra Province in February 2021 was
recorded at 102.03 or an increase of 2.02 percent compared to the NTP of
the previous month. The increase in NTP was influenced by the Price
Index Received by Farmers (It) which had an average increase of 1.92
percent, while the average Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) only decreased by
0.10 percent.
• The increase in NTP in February 2021 was influenced
by the increase in NTP in the Food Crops sub-sector which increased by
0.15 percent, Plantation 2.82 percent, Fisheries in General 0.94
percent, Capture Fisheries 1.43 percent and Aquaculture by 0.23 percent.
Meanwhile, other sub-sectors that experienced a decline were
Horticultural Plants by 1.76 percent and Animal Husbandry by 0.31
percent.
• In February 2021, in South Sumatra, there was a rural
deflation of 0.17 percent caused by a decrease in the average index
price in the expenditure group, namely: the Food, Beverage and Tobacco
Group fell by 0.33 percent, Clothing and Footwear decreased by 0, 06
percent and housing, water, electricity and household fuels also
experienced a decrease of 0.07 percent. While other groups that
experienced an increase were: Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine
Maintenance 0.31 percent, Health 0.25 percent, Transportation 0.06
percent, Food and Beverage / Restaurant Provision 0.25 percent and
Personal Care and Other Services 0 , 28 percent. Meanwhile, the
Information, Communication and Financial Services, Recreation, Sports
and Culture group and the education group did not experience any changes

The Exchange Rate for Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) of
South Sumatra, February 2021, amounting to 102.89 or an increase of 1.75
percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
