Palembang City in November 2016 experienced inflation of 0.57 percent while Lubuk Linggau City experienced inflation of 0.46 percent

The cumulative inflation rate of 2016 is 2.99 percent. The inflation rate "year on year" (November 2016 to November 2015) was 4.14 percent. Palembang City in November 2016 based on the expenditure group, showed that 5 (five) groups experienced an increase in the price index, ie foodstuff category (2.15 percent); finished food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco group by 0.66 percent; health group by 0.11 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel by0.06 percent; and the education, recreation and sports group by 0.04 percent. While 2 (two) expenditure groups experienced a decrease in the price index, namely transportation, communication & financial services group (-0.19 percent); and clothing group (-0.10 percent).
