Economy of South Sumatra Province Quarter III-2015 against the previous quarter rose to 3.82 percent

Abstract

The economy of South Sumatra Province, measured by the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) on the basis of current prices, in the third quarter of 2015 reached Rp 88.31 trillion and on the basis of constant prices in 2010 reached Rp 65.93 trillion.
Economy of South Sumatra Province in the third quarter of 2015 against the third quarter of 2014 grew 4.89 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by Provision of Accommodation and Food Drinking 11.30 percent. In terms of expenditure by components of LNPRT Consumption Expenditure which grew by 12.13 percent.
The economy of the South Sumatra Province in the third quarter of 2015 compared to the previous quarter rose to 3.82 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, this growth was caused by Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries which grew 15.62 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, it was caused more by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component which grew 5.32 percent.
