Abstract
- The economy of South Sumatra Province in 2014, measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp 308.41 trillion and per capita GRDP reached Rp 38.83 million.
- Economy of the Province of South Sumatra in 2014 grew 4.68 percent slowing compared to 2013 of 5.47 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth achieved by Education Services was 16.54 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Foreign Export Component at 14.93 percent.
- Economy of South Sumatra Province in the fourth quarter of 2014 if compared to the fourth quarter of 2013 (y-on-y) grew by 5.96 percent faster than the same period the previous year of 3.91 percent
- Economy of South Sumatra Province quarter IV - 2014 contracted 2.79 percent compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). In terms of production, this was caused by seasonal effects on the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries business fields which grew by minus 24.71 percent. From the expenditure side, it was caused by the slowing growth of household consumption expenditure and the high demand for foreign imports
