Abstract

In October 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Muara Enim Regency of 1.13 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.06.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: clothing and footwear group by 1.25 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.47 percent; health group by 3.60 percent; transportation group by 1.10 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 5.42 percent; education group by 0.59 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 1.09 percent; and personal care and other services group by 12.67 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rate of Muara Enim Regency in October 2024 were 0.12 percent and 1.13 percent, respectively.
