Abstract

* The number of foreign tourists visiting foreign tourists in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in April 2016 was 795 people. The number of foreign tourists coming to South Sumatra in April 2016 decreased by 44.79 percent compared to March 2016.

* Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in South Sumatra in April 2016 reached an average of 50.96 percent, down 10.63 points compared to the hotel TPK in March 2016 of 61.59 percent. Meanwhile, if observed according to hotel classification, it turns out that in April 2016 the five-star ROR of hotels reached 63.71 percent and was the highest TPK compared to other star-rated hotels.

 

* The average length of stay of foreign guests in April 2016 was 1.72 days which decreased by 0.78 days compared to the average length of stay of foreign guests in March 2016. While the average length of stay of guests of Nusantara / Domestic on the month April 2016 also experienced an increase of 0.23 days compared to the average length of stay of domestic guests in March 2016.
