Abstract

* The number of foreign tourists visiting foreign tourists in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in February 2016 was 980 people. The number of foreign tourists coming to South Sumatra in February 2016 increased by 15.57 percent compared to January 2016.

* Star-level Room Occupancy (TPK) rates in South Sumatra in February 2016 reached an average of 47.21 percent, down 3.00 points compared to the hotel TPK in January 2016 of 50.21 percent. Meanwhile, if observed according to hotel classification, it turns out that in February 2016 the ROR for three-star hotels reached 56.54 percent and was the highest TPK compared to other star-rated hotels.

* The average length of stay of foreign guests in February 2016 was 1.78 days which decreased by 0.73 days compared to the average length of stay of foreign guests in January 2016. While the average length of stay of guests of Nusantara / Domestic on the month February 2016 also decreased by 0.28 days compared to the average length of stay of domestic guests in January 2016.
