In February every year, BPS conducts the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). Officers who will go to the field receive training for 2 days effective from January 24 to 26, 2022 at the Griya Serasan Sekundang Hotel. Field officers from Muara Enim Regency and Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency are BPS partners who get sharing from concept definitions, data collection procedures, to document inspection. The regional instructors on duty have also attended instructor training in the same month so that the information obtained from the instructor training does not experience significant obstacles to reach field officers.
Sakernas data collection was carried out in February in selected census blocks, namely 18 census blocks in Muara Enim Regency, and 8 census blocks in Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency. The selected sample households are expected to be able to actively participate in answering questions given by field officers, so that accurate and quality data will be obtained.
